What is Cardio Tennis?
Cardio tennis offers a great outdoor workout using muscles from your core to your glutes. These are fun sessions within a sociable group fitness class with a tennis twist. You’ll get to hit lots of tennis balls during your class, build up your skills and work up a "little" sweat!
This workout is open to adults of any ability! The sessions will include:
Warm up
Some stretching, skills and drills to get your body warm and mind sharp - ready for the workout to begin!
Tennis
Put your shots into practice with fun tennis games - all mixed with a variety of fitness activities.
Cool down
Great job! Now it’s time to recover and stretch.
FAQs
What do I need to bring?
Bring along your own racket if you have one, but if not don’t worry we have a few spares you can borrow.
Don’t forget to bring a water bottle - you'll need it!
Do I need to be good at tennis?
Not at all. Everyone is welcome no matter what your skill level is! The class moves along quickly, so no one will be judging your skills, and it doesn’t matter whether the ball goes in or out.
Do I need to be fit?
Absolutely not! Cardio Tennis is for anyone who wants to have fun whilst getting fit!
Do I have to be a member of Middleton Cheney Tennis Club?
No, anyone can attend. Dates, rates and more information will be available soon.
However, if you choose to join us as a member you get to join in our fun and friendly club sessions, tournaments and competitions!
